To connect and control the QTX Tetra 4 In 1 Stage Light Effect using DMX, follow these steps:
1. Connect a DMX controller to the Tetra using an XLR DMX lead. Plug one end of the XLR lead into the DMX IN connector of the Tetra.
2. Connect additional DMX light fixtures that are being controlled from the Tetra to the DMX OUT connector of the Tetra. This creates a daisy-chain connection.
3. Set the DMX start address of the Tetra and all other lighting fixtures in the chain to accommodate all the required channels for each fixture. The Tetra has 11 DMX channels.
4. Refer to the DMX Channels table in the user manual to understand the function and values of each channel. The table provides information on how to control different effects, such as water wave, fireball, laser, UV, strobe, and motor speed.
5. Use your DMX controller to send DMX signals to the Tetra and other connected fixtures. Adjust the values of the DMX channels to control the desired effects and settings.
