To zero the BORMANN DS1100 Scale before weighing an article, follow these steps:
1. Draw the scales hook straight when using and hold the handle with a firm grip.
2. Make sure the pointer is put to zero by adjusting the handle until the scale indicator points at zero.
3. Once the pointer is at zero, you can weigh the article. The scale division that the scale indicator points at will indicate the weight of the article.
It is important to note that the article being weighed must be hung at the scales hook vertically and stably to prevent any accidents or injuries. After use, the scales should be scrubbed clean to prevent any corrosive substances from affecting its service life and accurate weighing value.
