To install the COMET T5140 transmitter, follow these steps:

1. Choose a suitable location for installation. The T5140 transmitter is designed for wall mounting with two screws or bolts. The T5145 transmitter is designed for duct mounting using the Pg21 cable gland.

2. If wall mounting, use two screws or bolts to secure the transmitter housing to the wall. If duct mounting, insert the metal stem into the Pg21 cable gland, ensuring that the measured air is fed into the head of the device.

3. If using the T5141 transmitter with an external probe, unpack the probe and connect it to the T5141 device. Then place the probe into the measured environment.

4. Unscrew the four screws in the corners of the transmitter case and remove the lid. Pass the connecting cable through the released gland and connect the wires to the terminals. Use a shielded cable with an external diameter of 3.5 to 8 mm.

5. By using a jumper, J1, select galvanically or non-galvanically isolated output for the T5140, T5141, and T5145 transmitters.

6. Tighten the gland and xxxx the lid back onto the transmitter, ensuring the integrity of the seal.

To set up the COMET T5140 transmitter, follow these steps:

1. Connect the optional SP003 communication cable to the USB port of your PC. Install the TSensor program, which can be downloaded for free from the COMET SYSTEM website.
