To install the software for the Pacific Image Electronics PF 135+ Studio Scanner, please follow these steps:
1. Before connecting the scanner, make sure to install the software application. You can download the appropriate software from the provided online link.
2. Once the software is downloaded, locate the installer file. For Windows, open the Downloads folder and find the file named "PowerFilm_Windows...." For Mac, open the Downloads folder and find the file named "PowerFilm_Mac xxx.."
3. Double-click the installer file to begin the installation process. If you encounter a warning message on Windows saying "Windows protected your PC," select "More info..." and choose "Run Anyway." On Mac, hold down the "Control" key on the keyboard and click on the software installer package, then click on "Open" to begin the installation.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Once the installation is finished, you can proceed to connect the scanner.
Note: It is important to install the software before connecting the scanner to your computer.
