To connect the ROTHENBERGER Romaxi Eco Sealer and Thermal Weeder to a gas cylinder, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that all valves are closed.
2. Check that the seal between the pressure regulator and the gas container is in place and in good condition.
3. Check the condition of the hose and regulator before using the burner. Do not use a damaged or worn hose or regulator.
4. Connect the pressure regulator to the gas cylinder, making sure the direction of rotation of the thread is correct.
5. Install the hose failure safety device, if available.
6. Connect the gas hose to the pressure regulator and to the appliance. The hose end connector and the appliance connector have left-handed threads.
7. Tighten the connections with suitably sized open-ended wrenches. Do not exert excessive force to prevent over-tightening or damaging the threads.
8. Open the cylinder valve and check that all connections are tight. Use a leakage detection spray or soapy water to check for leaks. Retighten connections if necessary.
9. Do not use the device if you suspect a leak in the system.
10. Close the cylinder valve after performing the leakage test.
