To connect the CyberView CV-S101 Combo KVM Extender to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Transmitter unit to your local computer:
- Connect the VGA cable from your computer's VGA port to the DB-15 VGA port on the Transmitter unit.
- Connect the USB cable from your computer's USB port to the USB connector on the Transmitter unit.
2. Connect the Receiver unit to your remote console:
- Connect the VGA cable from the DB-15 VGA port on the Receiver unit to your monitor's VGA port.
- Connect the USB cable from the USB connector on the Receiver unit to your keyboard and mouse.
3. Connect the Transmitter and Receiver units:
- Connect an Ethernet cable from the RJ-45 port on the Transmitter unit to the RJ-45 port on the Receiver unit.
4. Power on the equipment:
- If you are using power from the local computer, ensure that it is turned on.
- If you are using the optional 12V power adapter, connect it to the power input on the Transmitter unit and plug it into a power outlet.
5. Verify the connection:
- Check the LED indicators on both the Transmitter and Receiver units to ensure that they are solid green, indicating a successful connection.
