According to the instruction manual, it is recommended to clean the pump and fountain every two to four weeks. This includes taking apart the pump and fountain and cleaning them with soap and water. However, be careful not to get soap in the filters as it will not rinse out. The plastic filter housing, stainless steel bowl, and stainless steel tower (except the silicone gasket) are dishwasher-safe. Additionally, it is advised to replace the carbon filter every two to four weeks and the foam filter every one to two months. Regular cleaning and filter replacement will help ensure fresh and clean water for your pet.
