To set up the MediSure Blood Glucose Monitoring System for the first time, please follow these steps:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before handling the device and testing your blood glucose levels.

2. Open the package and take out the MediSure Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Ensure that all the components are included: the blood glucose meter, test strips, lancing device, lancets, control solution, and user manual.

3. Insert a new lancet into the lancing device and adjust the depth setting according to your preference. Twist off the protective cap from the lancet.

4. Insert a test strip into the meter with the contact bars facing up. The meter will turn on automatically.

5. Use the lancing device to  xxxx  the side of your fingertip. Gently squeeze your finger to obtain a small drop of blood.

6. Touch the blood drop to the end of the test strip. The meter will start counting down from 5 seconds and display your blood glucose level.

7. After the reading is displayed, remove the test strip and discard it properly. Turn off the meter by pressing the power button.

8. Record your blood glucose reading in a logbook or on your smartphone app, if applicable.
