To install the LUMENA LRPC12 Remote Photocell, follow these steps:
1. Select a suitable "open" mounting position where the photocell is not affected by the light output of the fitting.
2. Make an 18-20mm diameter hole in the mounting surface, ensuring that the hole is free from burrs or rough edges.
3. Unscrew the nut of the external PC (photocell) by turning it anti-clockwise and lift off the top rubber washer.
4. Install the photocell in the prepared hole from the inside, making sure that the bottom rubber washer is in place internally, between the mounting surface and the photocell backing.
5. Fit the top rubber washer to the protruding photocell on the outside of the mounting surface and firmly secure it in place with the nut removed in step 3 by turning it clockwise.
6. Wire in the 12V power supply and the fitting to be powered by following the provided diagram.
7. Reconnect to the power supply, ensuring all connections are secure and no bare wires are left free of the terminals.
8. Restore the power and test the photocell by covering it to switch on the light, waiting for one minute, and then removing the cover to check if the light has switched off.
