To update the software on your Samsung QE55Q77BAT Smart LED Display, you have two options: updating using a USB drive or updating automatically through a network connection.
1. Updating using USB:
- Step 1: Go to Menu > Settings > Support > About This TV and check the model code and software version.
- Step 2: Using a computer, visit www.samsung.com and find your TV model. Download the upgrade file to a USB drive.
- Step 3: Unzip the downloaded file and save the "image" folder in the top-level folder of the USB drive.
- Step 4: Insert the USB drive into the USB slot on the back of your TV or the side of the One Connect Box.
- Step 5: The software update will begin automatically. If it doesn't, go to Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.
- Step 6: Do not turn off the TV or remove the USB drive until the update is complete. The TV will turn off and on automatically after the update.
Note: Video and audio settings may be reset to their defaults after a software update.
2. Updating automatically (Network connection is required):
- Step 1: On the remote control, press the button and go to Menu > Settings > Support.
- Step 2: Select Software Update > Auto Update to enable automatic updates. If the TV is connected to the network, it will update itself in the background while you are watching TV. The update will be applied the next time the TV is turned on.
- To update over the Internet immediately, select Software Update > Update Now. The TV will download and install new updates. Please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. The TV will restart automatically after the update.
Remember to keep your TV connected to the internet for automatic updates and ensure a stable internet connection for a smooth update process.
