To install the EBECO EB-Therm 500 Floor Heating Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: The thermostat should not be placed where it is exposed to direct sunlight or draughts, as this can affect its functions.
2. Consider the IP class: Take into account the thermostat's IP class when fitting it.
3. Fit the floor sensor: The floor sensor should be fitted in a spiral tube placed at the height of the floor surface. The end of the hose must be sealed to simplify replacement of the floor sensor.
4. Fit the thermostat in a junction box: Use a 65 mm junction box and ensure it is flush with the wall or tiles. Lift the front panel and frame by pushing a screwdriver into the groove on the underside. Connect the thermostat according to the instructions on the back, including the protective conductor for incoming supply and heating cable using a connection clamp in the box. Insert the thermostat in the junction box and fasten it with existing screws. Replace the front panel by hooking it into the lower part and pushing in the upper part until you hear a "click".
