To install an SSD drive in the j5create JCD552 M.2 NVMe USB-C Gen 2 Docking Station, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the docking station is disconnected from any power source and your computer.
2. Locate the M.2 NVMe SSD slot on the docking station.
3. Determine the type of SSD you have. The docking station supports M.2 NVMe M key (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280) or M.2 SATA M+B key (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280) SSD.
4. Insert the SSD into the slot, aligning the notches on the SSD with the corresponding notches in the slot.
5. Apply gentle pressure to firmly seat the SSD in the slot.
6. Once the SSD is securely installed, you can connect the docking station to your computer using the provided USB-C cables.
