To download files from the FTP area using the LSI SWUM_03043 P1 Comm Net program, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the program is installed on your personal computer and meets the system requirements mentioned in the user manual.
2. Open the program and go to the "Download from the FTP area" section.
3. Set up a schedule for the download process. You can specify the time interval and delay seconds for downloading files.
4. Configure the instruments from which you want to download data. You can enable or disable instruments, specify the FTP server, and manage FTP files after download (remove, move to backup folder, or leave them on the FTP site).
5. Optionally, you can set a maximum number of files to download at each request and use the last elaborated date to filter downloaded files.
6. Save the configuration settings and start the program.
The program will automatically download files from the FTP area according to the specified schedule and settings. The downloaded files will be saved in a local folder for further processing and saving in the Gidas database.
