To charge your Kindle using the USB-C port and power button, follow these steps:
1. Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the USB-C port on your Kindle.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a power source, such as a computer USB port or a wall adapter.
3. Press and hold the power button located on the bottom edge of your Kindle until the device powers on.
4. While your Kindle is charging, you will see a lightning bolt icon on the battery indicator at the top right corner of the screen.
5. Once your Kindle is fully charged, the lightning bolt icon will disappear.
