To install the HILTI HSA-R M8 Wedge Anchor, please follow these steps:
1. Determine the appropriate installation depth (tfix) based on the thickness of the material you are anchoring into. Refer to the table provided in the instruction manual for the recommended tfix values for different material thicknesses.
2. Drill a hole into the base material using a suitable drill bit. The diameter of the hole should match the diameter of the anchor.
3. Clean the hole from any dust or debris using a brush or compressed air.
4. Insert the anchor into the hole, making sure it is fully seated.
5. Using a torque wrench or suitable tool, tighten the anchor by turning it clockwise until the required torque is reached. Refer to the torque values specified in the instruction manual.
6. Verify that the anchor is properly installed by checking the anchor head is flush with the surface of the base material.
