To connect the Walrus Audio Badwater to your bass rig, you have two options: using the XLR DI output or the jack output.
1. XLR DI Output: The XLR DI output allows you to connect directly to the front-of-house (FOH) or your recording interface. Use an XLR cable to connect the XLR DI output of the Badwater to the input of your FOH or recording interface. This will send the signal from the Badwater directly to the PA system or your recording device.
2. Jack Output: The jack output allows you to connect the Badwater to an amplifier. Use a standard 1/4 inch instrument cable to connect the jack output of the Badwater to the input of your amplifier. This will send the signal from the Badwater to your amplifier for stage monitoring or additional tone shaping.
You can also run both the XLR DI output and the jack output simultaneously for direct PA and amp stage monitoring. This allows you to have a dedicated signal going to the FOH while also having a separate signal going to your amplifier.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams on how to connect the Walrus Audio Badwater to your bass rig.
