To turn on the collar unit, hold the Transmitter Magnet Indicator (red dot) directly against the Magnetic Activation Switch (M) molded into the side of the Collar Unit. The SmartLED Indicator will light solid for a second and then start flashing. Remove the Transmitter from the Collar Unit when the SmartLED light begins to flash. If the Collar Unit has been turned on, the SmartLED will flash approximately every other second. To turn off the collar unit, simply turn off the Transmitter or remove the batteries from the collar unit.
