Installation of the AURORA G-Lite GU10 IP65 Square Driveover/Walkover light is relatively simple. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Determine the desired location for the light fixture. Ensure that the area is suitable for installation and that there is a power source nearby.
2. Cut a hole in the ground or patio surface with a diameter of 76mm without the mounting sleeve or 84mm with the mounting sleeve. This will serve as the cutout for the light fixture.
3. If using the mounting sleeve, insert it into the cutout hole. Make sure it is securely in place.
4. Connect the loop-in loop-out wiring. This allows for easy installation and connection of multiple fixtures if desired. Follow the wiring diagram provided in the user guide.
5. Insert the GU10 lamp into the lampholder. Ensure that it is securely in place.
6. If desired, you can attach the optional frosted cover glass to the light fixture. This can help diffuse the light and create a softer glow.
7. Place the light fixture into the cutout hole or onto the mounting sleeve. Ensure that it is level and flush with the ground or patio surface.
8. Connect the power supply to the light fixture. Make sure to follow proper electrical safety procedures and consult a qualified electrician if needed.
9. Test the light fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.
