To install the THULE 307919 Adaptor Omnistor Eden on your camper, please follow these steps:
1. Position the adapters on the vehicle according to the provided diagrams (fig. 1 or 2).
2. Fix the adapters to the wall using the following guidelines:
- Ensure that the adapters are well aligned.
- Apply acid-free silicone paste or butyl kit into the drilled holes.
- For the 70 cm adapter, use only the indicated holes on the drawing. If additional fixation is needed, use a 4.2x25 xxxx in a free hole (fixation B).
- For the 30 cm adapter, counter drill from the inside (I? Jl 2.5) to place the fill-out tubes. Drill only as deep as the wall thickness (do not drill through the roof plate).
- Apply SIKA 221 glue on the back of the adapters before fixing them.
- Carefully tighten the bolts to avoid damaging the roof's lacquer.
For the full-length adapter, refer to the installation instructions for the awning. Ensure that there is enough space for the counter plates at the inner side of the vehicle. If necessary, new holes (D) can be drilled while following the same pattern. Hang the awning in the adapters and trim the ornamental border above the joint of the roofs (only for campers type Eden or Allegro). Drill 4mm holes at the bottom of the box and secure the awning to each adapter using 4.2x16 screws from the Thule Omnistor 5000 installation kit.
Important Remarks:
- Leave the awning open by 5 cm while the glue is drying to avoid torsion on the adapters.
- Never roll out the awning completely without extending the support arms to prevent damage to the vehicle wall.
- Regularly check if the adapters are securely fixed to the vehicle.
