To connect and control the VigilLink VL-MX88VW-1 Matrix, please follow these steps:
1. Connect your HDMI sources (up to 8) to the HDMI inputs on the matrix.
2. Connect your HDMI displays (up to 8) to the HDMI outputs on the matrix.
3. Connect the AC power cord to the matrix and plug it into a power outlet.
4. Use the provided Matrix IR Remote to control the matrix, or use the front panel buttons for control.
5. If you prefer to control the matrix via a PC, you can connect the matrix to your PC using either the RS232 or LAN (Ethernet) port. For RS232 control, connect the RS232 port of the matrix to your PC using a RS-232 to USB cable. For LAN control, connect the LAN port of the matrix to your PC using a UTP cable.
6. If using the PC control method, you can download and install the PC Tool software provided by VigilLink. The software allows you to control the matrix and access additional features and settings.
7. Once connected and controlled, you can use the matrix to switch between HDMI sources and HDMI displays, set up video walls, extract and insert audio, manage EDID settings, and more.
