To adjust the chain tension on the Makita UC015G Cordless Chain Saw, follow these steps:
1. Release the chain brake by pulling the front hand guard.
2. Loosen the retaining nuts slightly to loosen the sprocket cover.
3. Lift up the guide bar tip slightly and adjust the chain tension by turning the chain adjusting xxxx clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen.
4. Tighten the chain until the lower side of the saw chain fits snugly against the guide bar rail.
5. Hold the guide bar lightly and tighten the retaining nuts to secure the sprocket cover.
6. Make sure that the saw chain is not loose and fits snugly against the guide bar.
Note: It is important to check the chain tension periodically and adjust it as needed for safe and efficient operation.
