To adjust the chain tension on the Makita UC011G Cordless Chain Saw, follow these steps:
1. Release the chain brake by pulling the front hand guard.
2. Loosen the retaining nuts slightly to loosen the sprocket cover.
3. Lift up the guide bar tip slightly and adjust the chain tension by turning the chain adjusting xxxx clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen.
4. Tighten the retaining nuts to secure the sprocket cover.
5. Make sure the saw chain does not sag at the bottom and fits snugly against the lower side of the guide bar.
6. Check the chain tension periodically and adjust as needed.
