To remove and install the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve on a 2008 Ford Focus, please follow the steps below:
Removal:
1. Ensure that there are no open flames or sources of ignition nearby, as fuel vapors may be present.
2. Disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to the Quick Release Coupling section in the manual for more details.
3. Loosen the clamp and position aside the air cleaner outlet pipe. Torque the clamp to 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm).

6. Remove the fastener securing the purge valve. Torque the fastener to 97 lb.in (11 Nm).
Installation:

4. Connect the quick release couplings as per the Quick Release Coupling section in the manual.
