To set the maximum speed and acceleration/deceleration rates for the Nidec M700 High Performance AC Drive, follow these steps:
1. Access the advanced menu from the keypad by setting Pr 00.0049 = All Menus (1).
2. Use the left and right arrows to select the menus and the up and down arrows to select the parameters.
3. Set the maximum speed in Pr 01.006 (rpm).
4. Set the acceleration rate in Pr 02.011 (s up to Pr 01.006). A value of 20s is suitable for most applications.
5. Set the deceleration rate in Pr 02.021 (s up to Pr 01.006). A value of 20s is suitable for most applications.
6. Set the Ramp Rate Units in Pr 02.039 = On (1).
7. If a braking resistor is installed, set Pr 02.004 = Fast (0). Also, ensure Pr 10.030, Pr 10.031, and Pr 10.061 are set correctly to avoid premature "Brake R Too Hot" trips.
Please refer to the Nidec M700 High Performance AC Drive User Guide for more detailed instructions and information on other settings and parameters.
