To connect the Hanwha Techwin HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder to your network, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a network router or switch available for the connection.
2. Locate the NETWORK port on the back of the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder.
3. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the NETWORK port on the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder.
4. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an available LAN port on your network router or switch.
5. Power on the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder by connecting the power cord to a power outlet.
6. Wait for the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder to boot up and initialize.
7. On a computer connected to the same network, open a web browser and enter the IP address of the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder. You can find the IP address in the network settings of your router or by using the Hanwha Techwin web viewer software.
8. Log in to the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder using the default administrator ID and password. The default administrator ID is "admin" and the password should be set when logging in for the first time.
9. Once logged in, you can configure the network settings of the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder, including IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS settings. Consult the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder Instruction Manual for detailed instructions on how to configure the network settings.
10. After configuring the network settings, you should be able to access the HRX-1632 Digital Video Recorder remotely using a computer or mobile device connected to the same network.
