To set up the Alinco DJ-X11T Wideband Handheld Receiver for the first time, follow these steps:
1. Hold down the side [POWER] key for one second to turn on the receiver.
2. Press the [MAIN] key for one second to change the display to a single channel.
3. Use the keypad to enter the frequency 401.680 and press Enter [ENT].
4. Press the top [FUNC] button. "F" will appear in the top left corner of the display.
5. Press [STEP]. Rotate the top left rotary xxxx to select "100 Hz" and press [FUNC].
6. Press [FUNC]. Press [MODE]. Rotate the top left xxxx to select "LSB" and press [FUNC].
7. Press down once on the left rotary xxxx . Rotate the xxxx until the main squelch is set to "0". Press the xxxx again.
8. Press [FUNC]. Press [GAIN]. Rotate the xxxx to select "1" (Max Gain). Press [FUNC].
9. Press [FUNC]. Press [ATT]. Rotate the xxxx to select "Off" (No Attenuation). Press [FUNC].
The receiver is now set up for maximum sensitivity and long-range tracking. If you encounter any issues or make incorrect button selections, you can turn off and on the power to reset the receiver.
Note: To enable keylock, hold down the [FUNC] button for one second. Repeat the same step to unlock the keylock.
