To adjust the power level on the CONTROLOMATIC ChlorMaker Saltwater Chlorine Generator, follow these steps:
1. Press both the Up button and the Down button on the control box at the same time. The light on the control box will turn on solid, indicating that it is in power change mode.
2. Press the Up button to increase the power level. Each time you press the Up button, the Green (Salt High) light will flash. The power level ranges from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest power level.
3. If you reach the maximum power level of 10, the Green light will be on solid.
4. Press the Down button to decrease the power level. Each time you press the Down button, the Red (Salt Low) light will flash. The power level ranges from 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest power level.
5. If you reach the minimum power level of 1, the Red light will be on solid.
6. When you are finished adjusting the power level, do not press any buttons for three seconds. The light on the control box will flash the new power level, confirming the setting change.
Note: It is important to adjust the power level based on your spa usage. If spa usage drops (e.g., during vacation or winter), it is recommended to lower the power level to avoid over-chlorination. If spa usage increases (e.g., after returning from vacation or during spring), it is recommended to raise the power level to ensure proper chlorination.
