The Logix Smart™ SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-R-002) RUO test kit should be stored properly to maintain the integrity of the reagents. Here are the storage guidelines:

1. Upon arrival, check if all components are frozen. If any components are not frozen or compromised during shipment, contact your distributor for assistance.

2. Store all components immediately upon arrival at a temperature between -40°C and -16°C. This temperature range will prevent degradation of the reagents.

3. Avoid repeated thawing and freezing of components, especially the master mix (MM). Thawing and freezing the components more than 4 times can affect the performance of the assay.

4. If you plan to use the reagents intermittently, freeze them in multiple aliquots.

5. Do not store the components between +2°C and +8°C for more than 4 hours.

6. It is recommended to have a backup generator for your freezer and a temperature data log to ensure that the test kit remains frozen in case of power outages.

7. Protect the master mix (MM) from light.

8. Do not use expired products, as the integrity of expired components cannot be guaranteed.

9. Follow the safety data sheets (SDS) for hazard classification and dispose of all components according to applicable laws and regulations.
