According to the instruction manual, before using the NiMH batteries for the first time, they must be charged. It is recommended to charge the batteries at a current of 1/10 of their capacity, which means charging at the 10-hour rate. The maximum charging current for the battery is 1C, which is the nominal capacity of the battery. The exact charging current information will be marked on the battery itself. It is important to stop charging immediately if there is a significant rise in battery temperature. Deep discharge should be completely avoided, and the cell voltage should never fall below 0.9V. It is not necessary to fully discharge the battery before each charge, but occasionally, such as after every 10th charge or if the battery has not been used for a long time, it should be discharged before charging. It is also advised not to charge several batteries together from a single charger to avoid overcharging and potential destruction.
