To connect the HQ POWER VDPLPS36BP PAR36 LED Pinsport to a DMX controller, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Connect the provided XLR cable to the female 3-pin XLR output of your DMX controller.
2. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to the male 3-pin XLR input of the VDPLPS36BP.
3. If you have multiple VDPLPS36BPs, you can link them through serial linking using a two-core, screened cable with XLR input and output connectors.
4. At the last fixture in the chain, the DMX cable should be terminated with a terminator. The terminator is simply an XLR plug with a 120Ω resistor between pins 2 and 3. Plug the terminator into the XLR output socket of the last device in the chain.
Please refer to the diagram in the manual for a visual representation of the DMX connections.
Note: It is important to use a stereo-shielded cable and 3-pin XLR plugs and connectors for the DMX connections to ensure proper signal transmission.
