To clean and sterilize the Philips SCF692 Avent Baby Bottle, follow these steps:
1. Disassemble all parts of the bottle.
2. Clean all parts before each use with warm, soapy water. Remove any food residues and rinse thoroughly.
3. If you use a brush to clean the tip of the feeding teat, clean it carefully to avoid damage.
4. After cleaning, sterilize the parts by one of the following methods:
a. Boiling: Place the disassembled parts in boiling water for 5 minutes.
b. Philips Avent sterilizer: Use a Philips Avent sterilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. After sterilization, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly and ensure that the surfaces are clean before handling the sterilized components.
6. During sterilization with boiling water, prevent the parts from touching the sides of the pot to avoid deformation or damage.
7. Avoid using abrasive or antibacterial cleaning agents on the bottle parts.
8. The product is dishwasher safe, but do not place it in a heated oven.
9. It is recommended to replace the feeding teats every 3 months.
10. Store the feeding teats in a dry, covered container, and avoid leaving them in direct sunlight, heat, or disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.
