To install the Lucci Fresco Merricks Wall Bracket, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF before starting any electrical work.
2. Remove all packaging material from the product and make sure not to throw away any accessories that may be hidden within the packaging.
3. Loosen the nuts from the bottom of the luminaire and remove the top of the luminaire.
4. Remove the shade from the luminaire.
5. Remove the nuts from the front of the canopy and remove the washer from the front of the canopy.
6. Remove the canopy from the mounting bracket.
7. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the xxxx hole positions on the wall.
8. Depending on your mounting surface, install anchors if required. Make sure the anchors used are suitable for the surrounding environment.
9. Pull the mains supply wire through the mounting bracket.
10. Install the mounting bracket onto the wall using appropriately sized mounting screws. Ensure the screws used are suitable for the mounting surface and the surrounding environment.
11. Remove the terminal block from the mounting bracket.
12. Connect the mains supply wire to the terminal block. Ensure that the wires are secure and no bare wires are exposed.
13. Put the terminal block back onto the mounting bracket. Note: The luminaire is a Class I product and must be earthed during wiring and installation.
14. Install the canopy back onto the mounting bracket.
15. Install the washer back onto the canopy.
16. Install the nuts back onto the canopy to secure the luminaire. Note: Ensure the rubber washers are used to install the luminaire to maintain the IP44 rating.
17. Install a globe (not included) into the lamp holder. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
18. Install the shade onto the luminaire.
19. Install the top onto the luminaire. Note: Ensure the grommet on the shade forms a tight seal with the luminaire to maintain the IP44 rating.
20. Tighten the nuts at the bottom of the luminaire.
21. After the luminaire has been fully installed, switch on the luminaire to test and enjoy your new lighting product.
