To install the LUMENA GUARDA Professional Solar Bollard Light, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Select an area that receives ample sunlight and avoid shady areas. Make sure there are no other lights nearby that could interfere with the solar light.
2. Mounting options: The bollard can be mounted on a low wall, wood, patio, or set in concrete using J-Bolts (sold separately) via the external surface mount.
3. Surface mounting: Use the base of the bollard to mark three mounting holes on the mounting surface in the correct position. Remove the bollard and drill the three marked holes at the appropriate size for the mounting screws or bolts to be used (long anchor bolts are recommended). Replace the bollard body, aligning the three holes at the base, and secure it in place with screws or bolts.
4. Root mounting: For root mounting, use J-Bolts and set them in concrete (sold separately).
Note: The maximum bolt/ xxxx diameter is 12mm (M12).
Important: Spacers may be beneficial between the surface and the underside of the mounting base (20mm) to prevent overtightening of screws and potential strain or damage to the base.

Please note that it is essential to keep the solar bollard turned on at all times after installation to ensure proper charging. The bollard will only charge when in the ON position. To turn on the bollard, remove the waterproof rubber bung located below the polycarbonate lens, in line with the Lumena logo, and press the red on/off button using a small, flathead screwdriver until it clicks. The bollard is now in the ON position. Replace the waterproof rubber bung.
Remember that there will be a short delay of 2-5 seconds between turning the solar light on and the bollard illuminating. In daylight, the light will turn off within a few seconds, while in darkness, it will remain on and follow the pre-set time-controlled cycle.
