To assemble the Velleman K7200 power supply, follow the instructions provided in the instruction manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Start by assembling the transistor PCB P7200T. Mount the pins for connecting T4 to T6 and six Faston clamps for E B C on board 1. Mount the pins for connecting T7 and T8 on board 2. Mount the 5W resistances R41 to R43 vertically and with the body as indicated on the PCB annotation.
2. Next, assemble the base PCB P7200B. Mount the jumpwires marked with J and the specified resistances, diodes, IC sockets, capacitors, trimming potentiometers, xxxx connectors, and transistors as indicated in the manual.
3. Construct the digital readout PCB P7201 by mounting the jumpwires, resistances, diodes, IC sockets, displays, and capacitors as specified in the manual.
4. Once the PCBs are assembled, mount the heatsinks on the transistors and rectifying bridge as instructed in the manual.
5. Connect the various components and wires according to the wiring diagram provided in the manual. Make sure to connect the power supply to the mains voltage and test the functionality as described in the testing section of the manual.
6. Finally, mount the front panel, adhere the foil, and connect the power switch, connection terminals, and other components as specified in the manual.
