To install the UMENA HALOPOST Professional Solar Bollard Light, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Select a location that receives ample sunlight and avoid shady areas. Ensure there are no other lights nearby that could interfere with the solar light.
2. Mounting: The bollard can be mounted on a low wall, wood, patio, or set in concrete using J-Bolts (sold separately) via the external surface mount. Recommended spacing between bollards is 3 meters for substantial path lighting.
3. Surface Mounting: Use the base to mark three mounting holes on the mounting surface in the correct position. Remove the bollard and drill out the three marked holes at the relevant size for the mounting screws to be used (long anchor bolts are recommended). Replace the bollard body, lining up the three holes at the base, and secure it in place with screws or bolts.
4. Root Mounting: For root mounting, use J-Bolts and set them in concrete (sold separately).
Note: The maximum bolt/ xxxx diameter is 12mm (M12). Spacers may be beneficial between the surface and the underside of the mounting base (20mm) to prevent overtightening and potential damage to the base.
