To wire the ITC Docking Light to your 12V DC power source, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power: Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect the power source to avoid any electrical hazards.
2. Determine the installation location: Choose the desired location for mounting the docking light. Drill a 1/2" hole for the wire and two mounting holes at 1.4" on center.
3. Wiring: Refer to the provided wiring diagrams to properly connect the light to the incoming 12V DC power. Ensure that the positive (+) wire is fused for added protection.
4. Test the light: After wiring, test the light to ensure it is functioning properly before proceeding.
5. Secure the light: Feed the wires back through the hole and push the light into the mounting holes. Apply application-specific sealant around the light to prevent water ingress. Finally, tighten the nuts on the back of the light to hold it securely in place.
