To set the temperature and air volume on the ProsKit SS-979 2 in 1 SMD Hot Air Rework Station, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the rework station is ready and the handle is placed on the bracket.
2. Connect the power cord to the power receptacle on the back panel of the station.
3. Set the blast nozzle (preferably the large caliber nozzle).
4. Switch the power on. The screen will display the last set value and then display "SLP," indicating standby mode.
5. Press the "▲" or "▼" key to set the desired temperature. The screen will display the setting temperature.
6. Adjust the airflow xxxx to set the required air volume.
7. Hold the handle to start the heating process. Rotate the airflow xxxx to set the proper air volume and operate normally when the temperature is stable.
8. After work, put the handle back on the bracket. The SMD station will switch from heating mode to cooling-off mode automatically. When the temperature is lower than the station's threshold, it will switch to standby mode.
9. If there is no operation for a long time, cut off the power and unplug the power cord.
Note: It is recommended to set the temperature as low as possible in high airflow volume to prolong the heating element's service life and protect IC chips better.
