To connect the HOMCLOUD SK-WT5 WiFi & RF 5 in1 LED Controller to your Wi-Fi network, you need to follow these steps:
1. Set the light type: Before configuring the controller on the Homcloud App, you need to set the light type by pressing and holding the Match/Set key for a specific duration. Refer to the "Wiring Diagram" section of the user manual for the duration required for each light type (RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT, CCT, or DIM).
2. Configure on the Homcloud App: Open the Homcloud App and press "Add Device" or "+" in the upper right corner to add the device. Select the correct device (SK-WT5) and follow the instructions on the app to complete the pairing process.
3. Network connection: There are two modes for network connection - EZ Mode and AP Mode.
- EZ Mode: Press and hold the Match/Set key for 2 seconds or push the Match/Set key twice quickly until the blue LED indicator flashes rapidly.
- AP Mode: If EZ Mode doesn't work, press and hold the Match/Set key for 5 seconds to enter AP config mode. The blue LED indicator will flash slowly.
4. Follow the instructions on the app: Once in the Homcloud App, follow the instructions provided to confirm the device connection and set a name and house position if desired.
5. Start using the device: After completing the setup process, you can start using the HOMCLOUD SK-WT5 WiFi & RF 5 in1 LED Controller through the Homcloud App to control the LED strip's on/off, color, brightness, and other functions.
Note: Make sure your Wi-Fi network is a 2.4GHz network (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) as the Homcloud App only supports this frequency.
