To connect the Aquarian Audio PA1-PIP Hydrophone Buffer/Preamp to your audio device, simply follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your audio device supports plug-in power (PIP). PIP is a bias current used in consumer audio devices, typically used with electret microphones. You may need to enable PIP within the menu settings of your audio device.
2. Connect the hydrophone to the adapter. The hydrophone should have a compatible connector that can be plugged into the adapter.
3. Connect the adapter to the microphone input of your audio device. The Aquarian Audio PA1-PIP Hydrophone Buffer/Preamp is available with either a 3.5mm TRS or XLR output. Use the appropriate cable to connect the adapter to the microphone input of your audio device.
