To clean the Granny 3813502 Electric preserving pot, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Wipe the outer surface of the pot with a damp cloth and mild soap.
3. Rinse the inner container with hot water and soap to remove any food residue.
4. If there are limescale deposits, you can use a solution of citric acid or vinegar to remove them. Fill the pot with the solution and let it boil, then rinse with clean water.
5. The release valve can be taken apart and cleaned separately. Grip the tap with one hand and hold the plastic nut on the inside of the tank with the other hand. Turn the tap anticlockwise to unscrew it. Wash all the parts with hot water and detergent, then rinse and let them dry completely. Assemble the parts back in the correct order and position.
6. Do not dry the plastic parts over a heat source.
7. Store the appliance in a clean and dry place.
