To connect the VIKING SRL-1 Single Line Loud Ringer with Visual Ring Indication to your analog phone line, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a surge protector installed to protect against lightning and power surges.
2. Mount the SRL-1 in a suitable location.
3. Connect the power supply provided to the SRL-1 and plug it into a 120V AC outlet.
4. Use a screwdriver to loosen the cage clamp xxxx terminals on the SRL-1.
5. Connect the analog phone line to the appropriate xxxx terminals on the SRL-1. The specific terminals will depend on your phone line configuration.
6. If you want to add an external speaker for greater volume or additional coverage, connect an 8-Ohm speaker to the designated xxxx terminals on the SRL-1.
7. Once all connections are made, tighten the cage clamp xxxx terminals securely.
8. You can now program and set up the SRL-1 for single line loud ringing or door chime functionality using the DIP switches and test button as described in the user manual.
