To install the batteries in the CHIAYO NB-3100 Rechargeable Belt-pack Transmitter, follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the transmitter (labeled as "Battery compartment" in the diagram).
2. Open the battery compartment by pressing the cover release buttons.
3. Insert the rechargeable batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment securely.
Once the transmitter is switched ON, the battery power indicator (labeled as "Battery power indicator" in the diagram) will blink once to indicate that the batteries are in good condition. If the indicator remains illuminated, it means the batteries have expired and need to be replaced.
It is important to note that batteries contain corrosive acid that may leak and damage the transmitter if stored for a long period. Therefore, if the transmitter will not be used for more than 4 weeks, it is recommended to remove the batteries before storing.
