To set the charging voltage and current for the SmartGen BAC4812 Battery Charger, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the battery and charger.
2. Measure the charger output voltage by using a voltmeter.
3. Adjust the voltage potentiometer (labeled "VOLTS") on the charger until you reach the desired voltage value.
4. Connect the charger output to the battery.
5. Measure the charging current when the charging voltage is not higher than 12.5V.
6. Adjust the current potentiometer (labeled "AMP") on the charger to set the desired charging current value. You can refer to the current potentiometer scale for estimation.
7. Reconnect the battery and charger.
