To install and set up the CONDUCTIX wampfler BAL0400 Ergonomic Handling System, follow these steps:
1. Before beginning the installation, ensure that the equipment on which the balancer will be fastened is strong enough to support the load.
2. Determine the total load that the balancer will support, including the tool, accessories, and parts of the hoses and ropes. Make sure the total load falls within the specified type values mentioned on the respective type label.
3. Hang the balancer within the middle of the extraction area of the rope to achieve its best performance.
4. Always fasten the safety suspension (S) of the balancer on an adequate rake using the appropriate accessories. Do not use the same rake on which the hook (17) is attached.
5. Make sure that the existing construction is strong enough to support the balancer.
6. If attaching the accessory rope 20332, ensure that it is correctly positioned, considering the maximum permitted falling distance of 100 mm.
7. Use the clamp 20331 to clip both ends of the rope, laying one on top of the other. After the first tightening, fasten the clamp with the recommended 2 Nm torque to compensate for any loosening between the rope and the clamp.
8. If xxxx fastening devices are used to fix the balancer in position (S), use self-closing systems and/or split-pins.
9. Attach the load to the hook.
10. Do not lubricate the balancer with fire hazard or volatile liquids.
11. Do not remove any labels and replace any damaged labels.
