To connect the Phocos Pytes Inverter to the battery and set up communication with the Pytes E-BOX battery, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the power cables between the inverter and the battery or the busbars.
2. Use a custom Ethernet cable for communication between the Pytes E-BOX battery and the Phocos Any-Grid™ series inverter.
3. Refer to Figure 2.1.2.1 in the manual for the pin assignment of the Phocos Any-Grid™ series inverter. Connect the cables as follows:
- Plug one end of the cable into the RS485 port of the Pytes E-BOX battery.
- Plug the other end of the cable into the Phocos BMS Port on the inverter.
To program the inverter, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to enter the settings mode.
2. Use the button to navigate between the settings menus. Once you have selected a menu, press the button to confirm the selection or exit without confirmation.
3. Select menu option 05 (Battery type) and set the value to "RS-485" as shown in Figure 2.1.2.5.
