To switch on the LSI LASTEM ELR610M Heat Shield, press the "+" and "-" buttons together. After a few seconds, the Heat Shield will display its part number, version, and serial number. It will then show the day and time. If the day and time are correct, select "ESC" to continue. If not, go to "Change day/time" to adjust them. During the first switch-on, the Heat Shield will ask you to select the system language. Use the arrow buttons to select the language and confirm by pressing the "Enter" button.
To switch off the Heat Shield, press the "+" and "-" buttons together again.
