To calibrate the Milwaukee MW11 Digital Total Chlorine Tester, follow these steps:
1. Fill the cuvette with 10 mL of unreacted sample and replace the cap.
2. Press the On/Off button. When the display shows "Add", "C.2" with "Press" blinking, the tester is zeroed.
3. Remove the cuvette, unscrew the cap, and add the content of one packet of MI524-0 reagent. Replace the cap and shake gently for 20 seconds.
4. Replace the cuvette into the tester.
5. Press and hold the On/Off button. The display will show the countdown prior to the measurement. Alternatively, wait 2 minutes and 30 seconds and press the On/Off button.
6. When the timer ends, the tester will perform the reading. The tester directly displays the concentration of total chlorine in ppm.
It is important to note that the calibration process is included in the measurement procedure itself. By following the steps above, you will calibrate the tester before taking the measurement.
