To clean the heating platen of the Labnet PS1000 AccuSeal Semi Automated Plate Sealer, follow these steps:
1. Open the drawer of the unit and power it down by switching it off and unplugging it from the power source.
2. Allow the unit to cool for at least 1 hour before attempting to clean the platen.
