To adjust the load capacity of the CONDUCTIX wampfler Balancer, follow these steps:
1. Locate the locking xxxx (6) on the balancer. It can be in two positions:
- Position "A": The reel is locked.
- Position "B": The reel is released.
2. Never release the balancer with a drafted wire and without a screwed load (6). This can cause the wire to resile and potentially cause personal injury or material damage.
3. To increase the load capacity, turn the counterweight xxxx (9) clockwise with a socket wrench (10).
4. To reduce the load capacity, turn the counterweight xxxx (9) counterclockwise.
5. After adjusting the load, verify that the wire (28) moves freely. The complete stressed spring (27) must not limit the pullout.
6. During operation, the wire must not be pulled up to the stopper. It should stop at least 30 mm before the lifting end position.
7. If necessary, move and lock the clamp (42) to limit the upward course of the wire.
8. To lock the load at the required height, turn the locking xxxx (6) 90° to position "A". Ensure that the xxxx reaches the end position. Use a screwdriver to push the xxxx into rotation.
Note: Adjusting the load capacity should only be done with a hanging load. Do not attempt to adjust the load capacity without a load attached, as it may cause a dangerous impact due to the resiling wire.
