To connect the DOOR safe 3114 WiFi PIR Motion Sensor to your smartphone, please follow these steps:
1. Download the app: Create an account in the app and ensure it is ready to use.
2. Open the sensor by pressing the button and insert the batteries.
3. The LED light on the front of the sensor will briefly light up red.
4. Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds until the LED light flashes green quickly.
5. Press and hold the Reset button for another 5 seconds until the LED light flashes green slowly.
(Note: If the LED on the sensor flashes green quickly, the app will automatically try to connect to the sensor's network. However, it is recommended to choose the mode where the LED flashes green slowly and manually connect to the sensor's network.)
Next, proceed with Step 2:
1. Go to the home screen of the app.
2. Press the "+" or "Add Device" button.
3. In the app, select "SENSORS" and then choose "MOTION DETECTOR (WIFI)."
4. Ensure your smartphone is connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
5. Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi password.
6. Select "Confirm indicator is blinking rapidly" and then choose "Blink slowly."
7. Tap on "Go to Connect."
8. The sensor will start transmitting a WiFi network when the LED light on the sensor is flashing slowly.
9. Connect your smartphone to the network starting with "Smartlife-XXXX" (XXXX represents a unique identifier).
10. Once your smartphone is connected to the SmartLife-XXXX WiFi network, go back to the Smart Life app.
11. Monitor the progress in the app, as it may take up to 2 minutes.
12. Once the addition to the app is successful, give the sensor a name.
